how to get started
Step One:
Check out 'About the Competition'.
Click the thumbnail image or the photo title to be taken to a page where you can view the photo, share it, comment on it, rate it or save it to your favourites for later. Use the 'search the site' option to find photos using keywords such as location, activity etc. You can view photos without being a member but to rate, save and comment on photos just sign up to your FREE account.
Step Two: Sign up free.
To open your account, click the 'Free sign up' link on the left hand menu of this page. Enter your email address, choose a password and a nickname you would like to be known as. Click 'Sign Up' and an email will be sent to your email address, just click the link on it to activate your membership and you're there! Easy.
Step Three: Upload your photos.
Download the photo from your phone, scanner or camera to your computer and click on the 'Submit a photo' button on the left hand menu of this page.
Click 'Choose File' and locate your image on your hard drive.
For best results, save your photos as .jpg, .gif or .png files before uploading them.
Enter the title that will appear next to the image thumbnail for your photo. Select the location that the photo was taken. Next, give us some information about the image - where was it taken, why is it such a great picture, why you love that place.
The next part is important. Enter some keywords that will help people find your photo, such as location of photo, what your image is about, when was it taken etc. The more info you submit the easier for people to find it.
